Check out this leaked video of the new Treo Pro. Will this new Treo save the stuck in the mud company, Palm ? Although the exact specifications aren't clear, it is rumored that this device will have a 400MHz processor and 128MB of RAM behind that 320 x 320 screen. I don't know about you but I'm not exactly shaking in my pants over this one.
Oh Palm Where have you gone ?

The Macbook Air Is About To Get Penryn-ized
It's that time again. If you own an apple computer, you probably fallen in love with your sleekly designed gadget and would never think about going back to the dark side (windows ..eh). But Apple likes to keep you fiending for more every six months because as soon as you start growing an attachment to your device, the folks at Cuppertino like to come out with version 2.0 and feed your tech envy.
And for a true Apple fiend, resistance is futile. Just ask all the people who stood in line for an iPhone 3G.
Looks like owners of Macbook Air's are about to get that itch very soon. PhoneNews is reporting that they can confirm that Apple is about to give MacBook Air an upgrade to the Penryn class Intel chips. What does this mean ?
This upgrade to the Penryn chips will give hte Macbook Air's a speed boost of up to 3.06 Ghtz. If this newer model includes the new Intel Centrino 2 chipset, this will probably mean improved graphics performance. Lets hope that the folks at Apple will be able to extend the battery life of this waiftop with this new power hungry processor. With the new dell business laptops now approaching 19+hours of battery life, 4 hours on a single charge is no longer acceptable.
With rumors flying around indicating all the Apple laptop lines to recieve updates around September, it might be prudent to wait before making any impulsive purchases. Then again on the flip side, version 1.0 of any Apple product is usually a little rough around the corner. |

AMD today announced the world’s fastest graphics card, the ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2. The HD 4870 X2 is delivering 2.4 teraFLOPS of processing power. Also announced today is the ATI Radeon HD 4850 X2 graphics card, delivering good performance at a compelling price point. Insane processing power and a lower price point ? Sounds good to me.

It's amazing what people are actually doing with Lego these days. Like Donkey Kong ? See what this guy has done with Legos to recreate one of the most popular video games of all time, Donkey Kong. Rolling Barrels, Super Mario and Donkey Kong jumping, it's all there.
Amazing what you can do when you have some free time and some passion.

Lenovo looks like they are priming to release a laptop just in time for the back to school season in September. These mystery Lenovo laptops will supposedly come in 8.9 inch and 10.1 inch screen sizes with a 160GB hard drive, for around $400. Thats a pretty good deal on paper. Details are scarce about the specifics of the device but there is a leaked video. Sounds too good to be true ? Check out the video from lilputing.
