eball golf simulatorWork and family keeping you away from the links lately ?  Feel your golf swing is going to absolute shit ?  Well don't worry if you got some money to kick around (chances are you do if your playing golf) then check out the Eball golf simulator.

E Ball’s golf simulator claims to offer the most realistic golf experience on the market today.

Players see a huge visual image of a real life situation at a major golf event. They hit the ball at the visual image and highly accurate ball sensors measure the ball’s speed and trajectory accurately as it passes towards the huge visual image of a golf course. In real time the virtual ball takes over and continues its path on the screen. Golfers experience the thrill of making the shot in the big game.

Check out images and more information about the E Ball golf simulator after the jump.

The Club That Saved My Golf Game (at least mentally)

I love the game of Golf.   But golf has done nothing but frustrate me for years with a few brief moments of enjoyment.   Between the countless hours of wanting to throw my clubs into the lake, I've had brief respites where I actually felt like I was finally getting the hang of this game.
I'm not sure why I keep teeing it up over and over.   Maybe I just like destroying my ego week after week.  But enough was enough ... and I was set to call it quits.

Then one day everything changed.   The secret ?   (1) I stopped taking myself seriously and (2) I got myself some new clubs.   Which had a bigger impact ?  It's hard to say.

Golf Leaving You Hobbled?

Golf is relaxing, leisurely sport that doesn't immediately bring to mind injuries and surgery as a result of playing 18 holes.  The best player in the world however, shows that Golf can leave you hobbling too if you're not careful.  Two days after finishing second at The Masters, Tiger Woods underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee Tuesday. He will miss at least four weeks, but plans to play in the U.S. Open.

Here are some of Golf's ten most common injuries.

Tiger Who?

This past weekend was the annual golf tournament held at Augusta National Golf Course.  This is not just any weekend golf event though.  This is the Master's, the first major championship of the year.

Now, if you dont follow golf and only listened to the media then you would know one golfer, TIGER and not think that any other golfer stands a chance to win when the events are actually played.  There are probably times when even the players on the PGA Tour dont feel like they really have a chance to win and all of them probably shook their heads in disgust when earlier this year, Mr. Woods decided to make his claim that the grand slam was a real possibility for him this year.

Wish you had a mulligan don't you?

This is one of those stories that is way too hard to believe.   According to the Associated Press, PGA Tour player Tripp Isenhour was charged with killing a hawk on purpose with a golf shot because it was making noise as he videotaped a TV show.

Isenhour was with a film crew for "Shoot Like A Pro" on Dec. 12 at the Grand Cypress Golf course. The 39-year-old player, whose real name is John Henry Isenhour III, was charged Wednesday with cruelty to animals and killing a migratory bird.

The charges carry a maximum penalty of 14 months in jail and $1,500 in fines.

Isenhour apologized in a statement and said he was only trying to scare the hawk away.
