Let me see if I can explain what is going on here.  There are a bunch of hot young girls in bikinis lying in a row on their backs.  They appear to be all oiled up and the object of the game is to see how far a man (who is also covered in goo) can slide accross their glistening bodies.  I know we have Howie Mandel and the Deal or No Deal girls where contestants can win a lot of money but how much more awesome would Deal or No Deal be if it was played this way instead.

If you only saw the ball drop on New Year's Eve, you missed out. This motorcycle jump is one of the most unbelievable feats I've seen in a long time.

Ever wonder what were the lyrics to that song you hear every new years?

The song, "Auld Lang Syne," playing in the background, is sung at the stroke of midnight in almost every English-speaking country in the world to bring in the new year. At least partially written by Robert Burns in the 1700's, it was first published in 1796 after Burns' death. Early variations of the song were sung prior to 1700 and inspired Burns to produce the modern rendition. An old Scotish tune, "Auld Lang Syne" literally means "old long ago," or simply, "the good old days."

Interphone researchers are conducting thelargest-ever study investigating if cellphones cause cancer, examining studies from 6,400 tumors in patients from 13 countries. Final results are expected in early 2009, but the preliminary ones are .... not good. Not good at all.

I love watching videos of Rube Goldberg machines.  Sure they are geeky and you have to question the ample amount of free time that these people have to put something like this together but in the end it is still pretty amazing to watch.  Check out this video of a Rube Goldberg machine that actually takes more than 20 minutest to complete from beginning to end.

In Minden, NV, a 39 year old woman was arrested last week on suspicion of smoking pot with her two teenage children.  That's right it was just your average family pot smoking gathering.  What is this country coming to ?
Deputies said the woman told them she was actually teaching her sons to drive.  I can just imagine the cloud of pot smoke as they rolled down the windows.
 

Inspirational posters just seem very boring to me.  Usually, they have a decent picture with a very bland unoriginal saying or quote on the bottom.  They are good for stuffy offices, but seriously who looks at these posters and gets motivated to do better?  On the other hand there are plenty of unmotivational posters that make you smile and laugh when you see them.  I would not recommend putting them in the customer service area of the office but they would probably make a great screen saver.  Here are 15 more you can add to your collection.
