UFC 87 Seek and Destroy Results
UFC 87 Search and Destroy results and post fight analysis. Post fight results and videos from UFC 87 from the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN. Overall , UFC 87 was a solid fight card and we witnessed some of the most dominating performances ever in the octagon. There should be no doubt now who the best pound for pound fighter in the world is. The main card of the PPC featured :

Jon Fitch Finally Gets His Title Shot. But Does He Stand A Chance Against Georges St-Pierre ?
On Saturday August 9th, 2008 at the Target Center in Minnesota, the UFC will host UFC 87 : Seek and Destroy. Georges 'Rush' St-Pierre defends the UFC Welterweight Championship at UFC 87: SEEK AND DESTROY, as number one contender Jon Fitch steps up to take on the newly crowned champion. Then, hometown hero Brock Lesnar returns to the Octagon to seek redemption in the Heavyweight Division. Plus, in what could end up being the matchup of the year, lightweight contenders face off as Kenny 'KenFlo' Florian battles Roger 'El Matador' Huerta.

Cristiane "Cyborg" Santos.
I finally got around to watching last Saturday's Saturday Night Fights on CBS on my DVR today. Overall, the card was much improved over the inaugural event. Looks like CBS tried to learn from their mistakes and improve their product.
Far from perfect but hey it's free MMA. But I'm really not here to talk about the fight card. I'm here to talk about the Cyborg, Cristiane Santos. Let me tell you after watching this woman fight, Gina Carano might have a serious challenger on her hands.
If we get lucky, we might get to see those two knock heads on October 7th.

The Affliction Clothing company, reponsible for the rather expensive fashionable T-Shirts that roam the crowds of MMA events is set to launch it's very own MMA event on July 19th headlining a match with Fedor Emilianko and former UFC Heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia.
The question is, are non-hardcore MMA fans going to be willing to shell out $40 to watch a non UFC card ? The UFC, in a rather unprecedented move, has put together a FREE UFC Fight Night card on SPIKETV to try and draw some attention away from the Afflictions welcoming party.

Everyone's Favorite Underdog No More. Meet The New Light Heavyweight Champion of the UFC
No one gave Forrest Griffin a chance against Quinton Jackson. When the fight was first announced, myself included thought that Forrest might wind up on a stretcher if he tried to go toe to toe with Rampage. Funny thing happened on July 5th, 2008 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Vegas ... we saw the evolution of Forrest Griffin the figher into Forrest Griffin the new light heavyweight champion of the world.
