Donna Martin Must Graduate !!! (Obscure 90210 Reference)
It's bad enough that they are actually going to bring back the television show but to make a limited edition iPod to commemorate the event? That's a little too crazy. With Beverly Hills 90210 and New Kids On The Block coming back it looks like we are in for a 90's retro phase. What's next mullets , French cuff jeans, overalls and hypercolor shirts ?
The CBS Store has decided to offer up a special run of 8GB Beverly Hills, 90210 iPod nanos just as The CW pushes the all new version of the show this fall. Buyers can add up to 30 characters of text and choose black, pink, green, blue or silver hues, but you better hurry -- who knows how fast raving fans will be handing over their $269 in hopes of securing one.
Think this is lame and searching for an mp3 player? Here are some other choices for your hard earned $$$.

Great . Another Reason To Consume More Caffeine.
As if we weren't pounding enough caffeine into our systems already .... AT&T and the folks at Starbucks have finally rolled out their free WiFi plan to Starbucks Card users registered with AT&T. In exchange for selling a bit of your privacy and letting AT&T send you up to 4 emails per year, you get a single WiFi session of up to 2-hours per day at any of Starbucks' 7,000 or so US-based stores. Time to signup for that extra yahoo, hotmail or gmail account ....
Now its time for Starbucks to add some more damn electrical outlets and some comfy chairs. I love how people who lounge at Starbucks often (myself included) search for the heralded electrical outlet in starbucks like Indiana Jones searching for the next great treasure.
So whats the deal with not giving people some juice ?

Some Things Just Aren't Meant To Be
Some gadgets sound great on paper but in reality they should never really hit the market. Guitar Hero for Nintendo DS fits in that box. There is no doubt that games like rock band and guitar hero really have touched the hearts of musically challenged gamers around the world, but does this mean that they'll be inclined to take the show on the road without a fake guitar slinged across their shoulder ?
I'm not so sure I'm sold on this one. Based on this video, it looks rather bulky and just screams hand cramp to me. But If you really need your Guitar Hero Fix, you can pick this up at Amazon fo 49.99.

"When we launched the Area-51 m15x in January with the original CPUs and the NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTX GPU, we knew we had crammed in more power than anyone had ever seen in this size system," said Bryan de Zayas, Associate Director for Product Marketing at Alienware. "Now, with the addition of an IntelCore 2 Extreme X9000, we've made the world's most powerful 15.4-inch notebookeven more powerful."
The processor used in the system has 6MB of shared L2 cache and an 800MHz FSB. Pricing for the little beastie starts at $2149 without the 45nm processor. Add the X9000 CPU and you will tack an additional $650 onto the base price.
