Cashing In The Big Ticket. This One Is A Winner
Today I shed a tear. These tears have been building inside me for 21 years. 21 years of heartache, dissapointment and tragedy have been bottled up inside me. Today, I shed tears of joy. The Boston Celtics have won the NBA championship for the 17th time. Finally. The 17th championship banner is going to hang in the rafters.
Time to hit the road and head to Boston for the parade. Its great to be a Celtic fan once again. Is this the beginning of a dynasty ? Lets not be too greedy.

 Is Destiny About To Be Fufilled ?
Last year the Celtics were one of the worst teams in the NBA. Some would say they were intentionally tanking games at the end of the season in hopes of landing Greg Oden or Kevin Durant in the NBA Draft. The Celtics, statistically had a 33% chance of landing the top pick. Landing one of these can't miss prospects was going to infuse the franchise with much needed sense of hope. Something that had not been felt inside the Boston Garden (TD BankNorth Garden) for a very long time. The Celtic Leprachaun has always stood for a symbol of luck and good fortune. When the NBA draft lottery balls started rolling however, Lucky the Celtic leprachaun must of called in sick.

Celtic Pride Is Back Once Again.
The Big Three. The Boston Three Party. The PGA Tour. There were so many names floating around to describe the awesome combination of Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett. But names are just names ... what really matters in the end is Ws and Ls.
During the regular season, the Celtics took care of business. They finished with the best record in the league and earned home court advantage throughout the playoffs. Celtic fans around the world woke up the find their beloved team resurrected from the depths of NBA insignifigance.
The term Celtic Pride started to mean something again. We all started to care once again and we all started to believe. Could the 17th banner be very far behind ?

The Quest For 17 Begins On April 19th.
The NBA regular season is finally over. Now is the time when the games finally count. Will be another Spurs championnship, the year the the Suns finally break out ?, the resurrection of the Boston Celtics legacy, or the year of Kobe ? We'll all find out soon enough as the NBA playoffs start this Saturday April 19th.
